Neon for your wedding
Your names or the date in light, behind the table or at the entrance. And afterwards it simply hangs at home — that is the difference with renting.
Buying is often cheaper than renting
Rental prices for a neon sign at a wedding in the Netherlands are often between € 150 and € 300 for a single day, plus transport and sometimes a deposit. Your own sign with your own names starts around € 200. So you keep something, instead of handing it back on Monday morning.
Renting does make sense if you want something generic ("Love", "Better together") that you would not want on your wall afterwards.
When should you order?
Technically you can do it in a week: three working days of production plus shipping. But do not. Order three to four weeks ahead, and you have room to look at the design calmly, swap a typeface if you want to, and have the sign in the house well before the day itself to test where it will hang.
What works on the day
- Behind the top table or the dessert buffet. It ends up in every photo.
- At the entrance to the room. Works as a welcome and as a photo moment.
- On the dance floor. Put it high enough that nobody dances into it.
Outside in the garden
Getting married outdoors? Say so. An indoor sign copes with a dry evening, but an unexpected shower or dew on the grass under the power supply is exactly where it goes wrong. An outdoor build costs a little more and you can still hang it inside afterwards.
Power on site
Ask the venue whether there is a socket where you want the sign. Bring an extension lead that is long enough and tape it down — a cable across a walkway is the only genuinely dangerous thing about a neon sign.

How quickly will my sign arrive in the Netherlands?
Three working days after you approve the design. We build your sign in our workshop in Heusden-Zolder and ship from there to your Dutch address. So yes, the parcel crosses a border — that is already counted in those three days.
Order on a Friday afternoon and approve on Monday morning and Thursday is your day. Sundays do not count.
What does shipping to the Netherlands cost?
Nothing. Shipping to any Dutch address is included. The Wadden Islands too, although those sometimes take a day longer.
What does a custom neon sign cost?
Most signs for the home land between € 180 and € 450. For a shopfront or a bar, expect € 400 to € 1,200 depending on width and letter count.
Price follows the metres of bent tube, not the number of characters. A short name in a heavy typeface costs more than a long sentence in a thin script. The design tool shows it live.
I only have my logo as a JPG. Is that a problem?
Send it over. We redraw your logo as a bendable path ourselves, and that is included in the price. A sharp JPG or PNG is enough; an SVG, AI or EPS just makes it faster.
What we cannot do is turn a photo with fifty gradients into neon. Neon is a line of light, not a print. The design mock-up shows you exactly what survives.
Do I see the design before you start?
Always. You get a to-scale design with dimensions. Nothing goes on the bending table until you say yes. That mock-up is free, even if you decide not to order.
How much power does a sign use?
Far less than people expect. A 60 cm sign draws roughly 12 to 20 watts — about the same as a compact fluorescent. Run it eight hours a day and at € 0.35 per kWh that is around € 20 a year.
