We make it ourselves
Not an office that buys signs in and forwards them. A workshop with a bending table, a laser cutter and someone who picks up the phone.
Why we started
We had had enough. Companies promising they "deliver fast" and then leaving you waiting three weeks for a sign that comes from China. You pay the price of made-to-order and you get a box out of a shipping container, with an adapter nobody ever measured.
There was a time when we bought in and resold, like almost everyone in this trade. That worked, until a customer rang because a letter had failed after eight months. There was nothing we could do but order a new sign and wait six weeks. That did not feel like running a business.
Since then we bend it ourselves. That means we simply repair a fault, that a rush job can be done in three days, and that we know exactly what is inside a sign — because we put it there.
What goes through the workshop in a day
- The design. You send a logo, a sentence or a sketch. Within four working hours a to-scale design lands in your inbox, price included. Free of charge, even if you walk away.
- The bending table. Your design is printed at full size and the silicone neon flex is bent around it by hand. Every curve is handwork; that is where the craft is.
- The plate. The backing plate is cut from 6 mm cast acrylic. Cast rather than extruded: that makes a difference in clarity and in the chance of a crack when you drill.
- The burn-in test. Every sign burns for at least eight hours here before it leaves. An LED that is going to fail almost always fails in those first hours — better here than on your wall.
- The box. Foam, corner protection and an adapter with a dimmer. Three working days later it is at your door.
Where it is made
In Heusden-Zolder, in Belgian Limburg — half an hour from the Dutch border near Maastricht. Every one of our signs leaves from there, including the ones going to Groningen.
We say so plainly, because we think it is unfair to pretend we ship from inside the Netherlands. What we do promise is the delivery time: three working days to your door, border crossing included.
You are welcome to visit, by appointment. Then you see the colours burning for real instead of on a screen — and that prevents a wrong choice more often than you would think.
Why a separate Dutch site
A Dutch customer has different questions than a Belgian one: about iDEAL, about permits from their own council, about shipping across the border. Those answers belong somewhere they can be found straight away, instead of tucked away behind a country selector. The same workshop, the same people, its own address.
What we do not do
- We do not sell stock signs with a slogan somebody else came up with.
- We do not promise delivery in 24 hours. That is not possible if you really make it yourself.
- We do not say yes to a logo we know will not work in neon. We show you what can be made of it instead.
- We do not charge extra for a second round of design. That is simply part of it.

That is the question we get most often once someone has seen a photo — and almost no neon site answers it, because everyone only photographs the lit version. Flip the switch.

A script written in one continuous line
Four words, barely any breaks, and the same weight everywhere. With this kind of script the work is not in the length but in the curves: every loop is bent by hand around a printed drawing.

The other extreme: several colours, areas that are not lines, and text too fine to bend. What can be bent is neon; the rest is printed onto the acrylic and lit from behind. That combination is what keeps a logo standing that would not work in pure neon.

What actually ends up on your wall
Most neon signs look identical in a photo. The difference is in the thickness of the silicone, the plate behind it and the LEDs inside. Tap a point to see what we use.
The neon flex itself6 or 8 mm silicone LED flex, bent by hand. 8 mm for large letters and outdoor work, 6 mm when it needs to stay fine.
The glowThe gap between tube and plate decides how the halo reads. We set it so the light hits the wall without the LEDs showing.
The power supplyA 12 V supply with proper headroom. A driver running at 95 % of its rating gets hot, and heat costs you lifespan.
The LEDs insideUltra bright LEDs with a tight bin selection, so the colour stays even along the whole run. Cheap strips already drift after a metre.
The backing plate6 mm cast acrylic, laser cut to the shape of your design. Cast rather than extruded: clearer, and it does not craze.
