Delivery to the Netherlands
We ship from our workshop in Heusden-Zolder. To any Dutch address, free, usually within three working days of approval.
How those three working days are made up
The clock starts the moment you approve the design — not the moment you order. That is deliberate: as long as you still want to adjust something, your sign stays off the bending table.

Sundays and public holidays do not count. In busy weeks (November and December) it can take a day longer; we tell you that up front.
Cost
Shipping to the Netherlands is free, whatever the size. The Wadden Islands too, although that often costs an extra day.
Customs and import duty
No, none of that applies to you. Belgium and the Netherlands are both in the EU customs union: there is no import duty and no customs clearance. Your parcel simply drives on.
How it is packed
Every sign goes into a made-to-measure box with foam all around the plate and extra protection on the corners — that is where an acrylic plate picks up a crack first. The power supply and the mounting kit are packed separately so they do not rest against the neon.
Arrived damaged — what now?
First photograph the box as it is, before you unpack any further, and then the sign. Email those to info@neonled.be. We arrange a replacement; the hassle with the carrier is ours, not yours.
Collecting it yourself
You can, in Heusden-Zolder, by appointment. It saves you a day and you get to see the sign burning before you drive off.

We ship from Belgium; in the Netherlands the parcel is usually at your door three working days later. Mounting takes about five minutes.

How quickly will my sign arrive in the Netherlands?
Three working days after you approve the design. We build your sign in our workshop in Heusden-Zolder and ship from there to your Dutch address. So yes, the parcel crosses a border — that is already counted in those three days.
Order on a Friday afternoon and approve on Monday morning and Thursday is your day. Sundays do not count.
What does shipping to the Netherlands cost?
Nothing. Shipping to any Dutch address is included. The Wadden Islands too, although those sometimes take a day longer.
What does a custom neon sign cost?
Most signs for the home land between € 180 and € 450. For a shopfront or a bar, expect € 400 to € 1,200 depending on width and letter count.
Price follows the metres of bent tube, not the number of characters. A short name in a heavy typeface costs more than a long sentence in a thin script. The design tool shows it live.
I only have my logo as a JPG. Is that a problem?
Send it over. We redraw your logo as a bendable path ourselves, and that is included in the price. A sharp JPG or PNG is enough; an SVG, AI or EPS just makes it faster.
What we cannot do is turn a photo with fifty gradients into neon. Neon is a line of light, not a print. The design mock-up shows you exactly what survives.
Do I see the design before you start?
Always. You get a to-scale design with dimensions. Nothing goes on the bending table until you say yes. That mock-up is free, even if you decide not to order.
How much power does a sign use?
Far less than people expect. A 60 cm sign draws roughly 12 to 20 watts — about the same as a compact fluorescent. Run it eight hours a day and at € 0.35 per kWh that is around € 20 a year.

We keep two sites because a Dutch customer asks different questions than a Belgian one — about iDEAL, about shipping across the border, about permits from their own council. Those answers belong where you go looking for them.
